About Dr DeAnn Bell
Dr DeAnn Bell is a published creative writer and senior lecturer in English, holding a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing. She specialises in the interplay of language, form, genre and cultural identity, and has wide-ranging interests spanning Gothic fiction, speculative writing, narrative across media, and marginalised voices in literature.

Her work combines rigorous critical thinking with imaginative storytelling, making her especially well-placed to guide audiences through the boundary between séance and science.
