Saturday, December 4th, 2021 from 10 am to 2:30 pm (or until finished)

Crafting is an important part of Welsh culture. Join us for a 3-hour Welsh doll-making class where we will make our own Welsh Ladies and learn how Lady Llanover, the wife of an ironmaster in Gwent, created what is now recognized as the Welsh National Costume.

What parts of the costume are fact and which are fancy? Why the tall hat? How did this idea become one of the most recognizable parts of Welsh culture? Come craft with us and find out!

This is a beginner-level class. Doll-making kits are included. Time indicated includes breaks.

Class is limited to 12 people per session.

There will be a short lunch break. Coffee and tea are available in the shop.
