DESCRIPTION:Not only is this a rare chance to see what goes on behind the scenes in a museum store it is also an extra special treat to have the tour led by Richard who will be able to share his knowledge and experience from his 21 years service at The British Museum. \nThe tour will cover subjects ranging from museum storage\, conservation and object handling by Mr. Richard Wakeman. You will have the chance to see museum objects up close\, ranging from a Leopard’s skull from the Llandudno field club collection\, an Indian made Blunderbuss from the original Chardon collection\, some intriguing specimens from our reserve entomology collection and many other fascinating objects. Due to the size limitations of our stores tickets for this tour will be extremely limited. Booking in advance is essential. \nSaturday November 30th    10:30 – 11:30 \nConditions: \n\n\nNo food/Drink under no exceptions (bottled water only). \n\n\nNo bags\, coats \n\n\nPhones on silent/vibrate \n\n\nPhotography for personal use only and only in specific areas\, NO FLASH.
