Hello All,
We regret to inform you that tomorrow’s Llandudno Museum talk The Welsh Braveheart, Owain Glyndwr, the Last Prince of Wales has been canceled. I got a call from author Phil Carradice to say that he’d taken a fall and broken 3 of his ribs. He’s going to reschedule this talk with us for a later date.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to support the museum!
The Welsh Braveheart: Owain Glyndwr, The Last Prince of Wales
with Phil Carradice
Join Phil Carradice on June 15th, 2022, at 7pm on Zoom to discuss the launch of his newest book “The Welsh Braveheart: Owain Glyndwr, the Last Prince of Wales”. The story of Owain Glyndwr is a saga that combines courage, self-sacrifice, and ambition—not for personal gain, but for the benefit of a whole nation. And yet, despite his success and popularity, Glyndwr’s rebellion seriously damaged the Welsh economy with towns destroyed and much agricultural land laid to waste. Welsh historian Phil Carradice takes us through this complicated history of a Welsh Prince turned legend.
Author Bio: Phil Carradice is a poet, novelist, and historian who has published over 80 books. His most recent publications are Hitler and His Women (2021) and A Hundred Years of Spying (2021).
