Welcome to our Website!
Thanks to the brilliant work of Karen Thomas of webdesigndirective.co.uk, our Coleg Llandrillo placement students, and our generous funders, Llandudno Museum and Gallery is launching our brand new website!
A Virtual Hub
This virtual hub of Llandudno Museum information includes a brief history of the museum, our wonderful funders, our staff, tells you how to donate, and will soon feature a place to shop for items connected to our beautiful town and our collections. Our website links to our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds, where you can chat with us, and it also connects you to our blog where we showcase our research, our student placement projects, our volunteer work, our local walks, talks, and information by our brilliant local experts. 2021 is bringing lots of interesting investigations of our rich local history and the launch of our very own Vlog.
Browse Our Collections
Browsing our collection photos? Notice anything odd? Yep. Those are boxes, packing paper, and our hands and feet. These are snaps of the collection as it emerged from the boxes that kept it safe while our building was being refurbished. We are documenting the museum as it blooms! These collections will be updated periodically so that we can show you the tremendous variety of artefacts here at the museum. Watch this space!
Speaking of blooms, don’t forget to check out our Outdoors section and see information about our Biodiversity posts and walks. Our new museum space will feature a biodiversity garden and butterfly garden where you can learn all about local plants, bugs, and animals and how small efforts from you can help them thrive.
